Lemonade

So, I love to make lemonade year round. Any recipe I have ever seen online calls for several lemons and mounds of sugar but the best tasting one is my mother in laws. Kathy just uses about 2 lemons (instead of 8) and up to 1 C of sugar (instead of millions). For a normal size pitcher, get ALL the juice from 2 lemons (or limes) that you can. About 3/4 C of sugar is perfect. I usually put some very hot water into the pitcher (maybe a C) and add the sugar to that. Stir to disolve. Add lemon juice. Fill with water. If I want to serve it right away, add ice before filling with water. Otherwise, just stick it in the fridge! We always have a pitcher of either lemonade or ice tea in the fridge and it really helps us cut down on pop. And tastes so much better. Yum.
